Monic Joint’s 2nd part feature article of how to bond with babies demonstrating
bonding with infants both pre and post birth.
May 2007 - Baby Hampshire Magazine, Summer 2007 issue
Monic Joint ‘s article “Natural Baby Bonding
for Everyone” appears in the Summer issue of Baby Hampshire
magazine, providing information on the importance of bonding with babies,
hindrances to bonding, and how to bond both pre and post birth with
infants.
May 3rd, 2007 - GMTV morning program-“BBC Panorama piece into
crisis within U.K. maternity wards”
Monic Joint appeared alongside a representative from the Royal
College of Midwives ahead of the May 3rd BBC
Panorama undercover investigation into maternity services
within the U.K.
Monic spoke in 2 interviews of the need for more money to be input
into U.K. maternity services, and highlighted the fact that women can birth
more easily, more quickly, in less pain and with less intervention when they
feel they are within a safe and supportive birth environment. Monic was interviewed
by Kate Garroway and John Stapleton.

Monic Joint spoke about current maternity services within the U.K. including
traumatic birth and midwife shortage results.

issue.
February 14th, 2007 - Koala Comforts range of baby and children’s
products launches
Koala Comforts, created by mum, bonding advocate, qualified baby massage
instructor and former nanny Monic Joint, launches her range of baby
slings, swaddle, bathing and breastfeeding poncho products along with her
e-book on bonding “The Koala Carer” book on bonding with babies
and positive parenting.
February 6th 2007 - GMTV morning program, New birth choices for U.K. women
announced by children’s tsar, Dr. Sheila Shribman

maternity staff shortages and traumatic birth relating to measures
